The April 4, 2023 local elections are behind us, and Lake Zurich voters have cast a total of 4,114 ballots to send the following three candidates to the Village Board of Trustees.
All three Trustees will be sworn in for new four-year terms at the May 1, 2023 Village Board meeting, which is live streamed online at LZTV.
Re-elected Trustee Marc Spacone
Marc Spacone lives in the Chasewood North subdivision on Kylemore Drive. He has lived in Lake Zurich since 2011 and is married to his wife Donna with four children. Marc is a middle school principal in Elgin.
Marc was just elected for his second term on the Village Board.
Newly elected Trustee William Riley
William Riley lives in the Old Mill Grove subdivision on Red Haw Lane. He has lived in Lake Zurich since 2013 and is married to his wife Valerie with two children. William is a vice-president at Walgreens Boots Alliance.
William was elected for his first term on the Village Board but has served on the Lake Zurich Planning and Zoning Commission since 2015.
Newly elected Trustee Roger Sugrue
Roger Sugrue lives in the Braemar subdivision on Berkshire Lane. He has lived in Lake Zurich since 2010 and is married to his wife Megan with three children. Roger is an insurance professional at Allstate.
Roger was elected for his first term on the Village Board.
