Paulus Park Beach is scheduled to open Memorial Day weekend, May 29, 2021 and close Labor Day weekend, September 6, 2021 with Breezewald Beach to open June 1, 2021 and close August 8, 2021. We will continue to adhere to all of the Governor’s Orders. Due to anticipated social distancing and capacity guidelines provided by CDC and IDPH, we are able to accommodate non-residents, unincorporated Lake Zurich residents, field trips and groups as of 2 pm daily as capacity allows for the 2021 season. The Village of Lake Zurich will continue to monitor the guidance from the State lifting restrictions when allowed to do so.
Given the limited capacity, resident entry and associated beach location is on a first come, first serve basis. One person from your household must be present and remain on-site to secure your household’s entry and beach social distancing square (see images below for approximate locations).
Caring for residents and employees in a COVID world is very different and we appreciate everyone’s flexibility as we continually adjust to CDC and IDPH guidelines and best practices.
Daily beach opening times vary and are weather dependent. For up--to-date beach status, click here.
