CPR Information
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) can make the difference between life and death during an emergency incident such as heart attacks and drowning. The Lake Zurich Fire Department recommends that every member in your home know CPR.
On-site training for businesses, schools, day cares, church organizations, and community functions are offered through the department. Please contact
Benny Yee for further information.
Calling 911 and Emergency Medical Dispatch
Calling 911 is sometimes misunderstood. When calling 911 for a medical emergency, our telecommunicators are trained Emergency Medical Dispatchers. Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) is a system to not only help citizens provide first-aid if possible but is also designed to provide the responding paramedics with valuable information.
