BE PREPARED FOR THE PURPLE PLUNGE!
If the weather keeps up like it has been for the past couple days we won’t have to worry about ice on the water, but we will guarantee you the water will be ICE COLD!
Things to know for the 2023 Purple Plunge
- Pre-Check in and Merchandise Pick Up will be available from 4:30-7:00PM at Scoreboard Bar & Grill on Friday March 3rd. This will save you time on Saturday and give you more time to buy raffle tickets and get your bid on the Silent Auction Items.
- Car Pool! Please do not park illegally or use spaces for local business in the area around Scoreboard and Breezewald Beach. Ace Hardware has offered the use of their parking lot for overflow parking the morning of the event!
- Don't forget to bring shoes and dry clothes to change into after the Plunge.
- Registration and Check in will begin at 9:00AM in the tent next to Scoreboard Bar & Grill. Please allow yourself extra time to find parking.
- Each team will be assigned a Wave Number the week of the Purple Plunge. This Wave Number will designate the order you will be plunging. Example, if your team is in Wave 7 you will be part of the 7th group that will plunge. Each group of waves will be called to the beach. Make sure you stay warm with your team up until the time you plunge and have dry clothes and towels waiting for you when you get out. There will be large HEATED changing tents available to use after your Purple Plunge!
