Traffic Notice for the intersection of Old Rand Road & Main Street
We are nearing the end of the construction project and are providing information on the next two phases and closeout.
The first phase of the intersection improvements is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Below is a tentative schedule through the remainder of the beautification project:
> East and West Main will be fully closed at Old Rand Road, beginning at 7:00 a.m. on September 18th, and will remain closed throughout the duration of the final phase of the project. Access to the businesses will be maintained.
> Old Rand Road will be open to one lane of traffic during work hours with flagger operations. Two-lane vehicle traffic to be reinstated at the end of the work day on Old Rand Road through September 28th.
The second phase will begin on Monday, September 29th:
> The intersection at Old Rand Road and Main Street will be fully closed to all traffic through mid-November.
> All roadway improvements on East and West Main Street will be concluded by mid-November.
We have created a landing page for the most direct way to access businesses on Main Street and Old Rand Road during closure of the intersection. Detour signage will be posted.
