Responsibilities you will have:
As the Assistant Finance Director, you’ll be a key member of our leadership team, working alongside the Finance Director to:
- Manage and oversee accounting, budgeting, payroll, utility billing, and financial reporting functions.
- Develop and present financial reports that clearly tell the Village’s financial story.
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards (GASB) and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with preparing the annual audit, budget, and multi-year financial plans.
- Supervise and mentor staff, fostering professional growth and teamwork.
- Step into the Finance Director’s role when needed, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
