The Village of Lake Zurich is currently hiring several positions for full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles.

Lake Zurich is attempting to recruit the best candidates by offering full-time employees three full weeks of paid vacation after one year of employment and health insurance plans that are 100% free for the employee.

Open Positions

Police Officers Newly hired police officers without previous police officer experience are eligible to receive a $2,000 certified police officer stipend upon successfully completing police academy training and meeting the department’s firearms qualifications.

Firefighter/Paramedic The application must be submitted to the National Testing Network by February 23, 2024, at 4:00 pm.

911 Center Telecommunicator As a Telecommunicator at the LZPD, you serve as the central coordination point between emergency services and the public.

Guest Services Associate (part-time) The Guest Service Associate reports to the Parks and Recreation Director and is responsible for the overall operations of the Guest Service Office for the Park and Recreation Department. The typical work period is between the hours of 12:15 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Lifeguard/Swim Instructors (May 18 - September 2) Lake Zurich provides lifeguard coverage at two beaches at Paulus Park and Breezewald Park. Now hiring for the 2024 beach season.
