1. How do I obtain records?

Inspection or copies of Village records may be obtained with a Freedom of Information (FOI) request form and faxed to 847-540-1769 or emailed FOIA@lakezurich.org FOI form

2. Where can I register to vote?

There are voter registrars at the Village Hall, Police Department, Ela Area Library, and the Ela Township Hall. You will need two pieces of identification showing your name and current address. Registration is open throughout the year except during the 28 days prior to an election, and reopens the second day following an election.
