Summary: In March 2016, the Village Board provided final approval to the Fidelity Group to develop a Planned Unit Development at 1075-1077 South Rand Road, consisting of a gas station, child daycare center, and approximately 10,000 square foot retail building that may contain a drive-through restaurant with outdoor seating. Prior to this final Board approval, in January and February 2016, the Planning & Zoning Commission held public hearings on the proposed development. The developers have now received all approvals from the Village to develop the property and site preparation work is underway.

Status: Site preparation work has been occurring during April 2017. Excavation work and utility installation is planned for May and June 2017. Site development and construction of buildings is expected to occur throughout the summer and autumn months of 2017 with final completion of Sparrow Ridge Plaza around December 2017.
